Cool water creek

I was hiking in a valley in the sierras of northern California on a warm, summer day and came across this cool & refreshing creek. I cooled my feet in the water and then continued on my journey to new adventures, never knowing what will be around the next corner of my world. I spotted an American Bald Eagle later on that day, but he was to distant to be captured with my camera. The image of this majestic bird soaring the free blue sky will always be in my mind. Of course there is always next time, and when next time happens, the image will be found here on my blog.
